Taxpayer Management module covers all best practices used to create and maintain the centralized taxpayer information for registered natural and legal person taxpayers.
Register a New Taxpayer
The system supports the registration of new taxpayers at tax office (with a TIN generated). It starts upon submission of application by the taxpayer or his/her representative who will provide documents regarding the taxpayer, and ends when the taxpayer certificate is issued.
Register a New Tax Type to an Existing Taxpayer
The system supports adding a new tax type to an existing taxpayer (already registered with a TIN). It starts upon submission of application by the existing taxpayer or his/her representative who will provide documents regarding the tax type, and ends when the notification letter is issued.
Modify Taxpayer Details
The system supports modifing taxpayer details of an existing taxpayer (already registered with a TIN). It starts upon the submission of application by the taxpayer, and ends when the notification letter is issued.
Automate the Operation and Calculation of Assessment Tasks
Assessment Management module focuses on Returns Processing and Returns Issue Resolution, and fully utilizes the automatic assessment engine to not only relieve the workload of assessment officers but also ensure the data accuracy of return assessment.
Generate Filling Obligation
The system supports the generation of filing obligation to indicate the tax responsibility of a taxpayer over the following new tax year. Registered taxpayer’s personal information such as name, FIN/TIN, tax type is displayed on the filing obligation.
Issue Pre-filled Return
The system can issue pre-filled return forms to taxpayers monthly or annually according to corresponding tax period. This process starts from when the system receives request from taxpayer or his/her representatives to generate return forms or generating trigger is activated, and ends when the return form is issued.
Process Taxpayer Return
The system can process return automatically through e-Revenue Assessment Engine. All return files are sent in terms of batches to Back Office to process once Front Office Officer finishes receiving them. Processing taxpayer return mainly includes officer capturing return and ITAS assessing return. At the end of this process, unassessment notice will be generated to a taxpayer.
Standardized and Electronic Payment
Payment Management is designed to process and refund all payments from taxpayer via payment instruments. Taxpayers can pay at the tax office, via bank transfer, debit card,credit card or other payment instruments.
Payment Office Management
The system allows the Payment Office Manager to open the office at the beginning of a business day. The manager can open the office for the current date or a past date on demand. This process starts from when the manager opens the payment office in system, and ends when the Payment Office Officer opens his/her till.
The system supports processing the payment from taxpayers. The process start when an existing taxpayer or his/her representative submits the payment (cash, promissory notes and cheques) to the Payment Officer through available channels defined in the Interface section. The Officer will confirm the tender of this payment.
The system supports standard refund function. All taxpayers could apply for refunding the money in their account. This process starts from the time when the taxpayer or his/her representative submitts the refund request or the refund request is sent from other processes, and ends when the notification letter is issued.
Business Intelligence Based on Risk Evaluation and Audit Processing
Tax Evasion and Audit Management cover all best practices related to the selection of taxpayers to be audited based on their risk profile, creation of audit cases, execution of audit, review of audit results, and archiving the corresponding audit case files.
Create Audit Plan
The system supports the preparation and management of audit plan. The process starts upon creation of audit plan and ends when taxpayers selected by predefined audit criteria have been placed into audit pool.
Create Audit Case
The system will facilitate the creation of audit case. Once an audit case is created, it will be assigned to a specific auditor based on audit type and department. This process starts upon the creation of audit case by preconfigured business rules, and ends when auditor receives the case and requests relevant case files from archive to execute audit.
The system supports audit executed by an auditor or a group of auditors. The process starts from when an auditor known as the case officer receives a case,and ends when the audit report is prepared and approved, revised assessment is posted to taxpayer account and corresponding assessment notification is sent to the taxpayer.
